The Spark: A Vision for Iju
The Iju Youth Forum Foundation did not begin in a boardroom. It began on the dusty streets of our neighborhood, fueled by a singular, persistent observation: that talent is distributed equally in Iju, but opportunity is not. We recognized that the youth of our community possessed the brilliance, the energy, and the ambition to change the world—they simply lacked the bridge to get there.
Our Anchor: St. Kizito’s Primary School
Every great movement needs a heart, and for us, that heart is St. Kizito’s Primary School, Iju Station. Our partnership with St. Kizito’s was born out of a realization that community transformation must start at the foundation of learning.
For years, we have committed ourselves not just to physical infrastructure, but to fostering an environment of excellence. The adoption of the “Blue House” was more than a gesture—it was a vow. It serves as a daily reminder to every child in that house that they are part of a larger family, one that is invested in their growth, their character, and their success.
